January 4, 2009:

The blood of Jesus shed on Calvary doesn't just cover our sins, it washes them completely away (Revelation 1:5 KJV). It's not like a garbage landfill, where the garbage is covered, but will eventually work its way back to the top and break through the ground cover for all to see, and then have to be covered all over again. No, our sins are completely gone. God has washed them away, just like when we wash the dirt completely off us when we take a shower, only Jesus' blood purifies better than any water can.

I was praying about this and thanking God for Jesus and for adopting us into His Family, when I saw a shepherd watching His sheep in the fold. Outside the fold was a wild sheep. The shepherd saw it, too. He took the wild sheep into His fold and tamed it. He didn't tame it by breaking its spirit, but by giving it His Spirit. Jesus is the Shepherd, and I was that wild sheep, and so were you. Maybe you still are.

If you are still that wild sheep and would like to know how you can be adopted into the fold and tamed by Jesus' Spirit, here is where you can find Peace with God.

Don't wait!! Jesus is coming back again, and it's sooner than you think!

My Previous Notes are available. If you missed one or want to go back and read a some again, you can.

Commission:
II Timothy 2:24-26:  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.  ---King James Version
(Read other Bible versions of these verses.)
